The Protector's Memories

Memories of the Protector is a solo RPG where you journey alone, guided by dice, cards, and your imagination. As you play, you'll uncover a story uniquely your own: tales of green fields, shadowed forests, gentle souls, strange creatures, and hidden dangers.

The Protector's Memories is a Solo TTRPG, a journey for you to play alone and, with the help of dice, cards and your imagination, go on an adventure and unravel a story that you will devise yourself. In this game you discover and create memories: memories of green fields, dark forests, gentle people, curious creatures, some dangers and, of course, memories of a past you didn't inherit.

This book will give you the rules: ways to enjoy, savor and interact with these discoveries, which are, above all, just tools for you to use as you wish in the process of creating and discovering a new world. Within the 70 pages you will find:

• 6 different biomes, with their own particularities, creatures, inhabitants and challenges;
• Rules for exploration, combat, gathering and magic.
• A chapter with tools for creating settlements with various establishments and functions;
• A chapter with tools and tables to help you develop and create inhabitants for this world, along with their dialogues, reactions and stories;
• A chapter for generating Ruins and their mysterious creatures;
• A chapter with instructions on how you can end this story and discover the truth about the past;
• A series of illustrations of locations, creatures and characters to help you nurture your creativity and cultivate this world;

MECHANICS

The game's mechanical resolutions are based on 6-sided dice (d6) to define how well you can carry out your actions, and on common playing cards to help you explore this unknown land but above these random elements, the game's challenges are based on understanding how peoples and biomes connect, what items or opportunities they can offer you, and how these resources can be used to solve your problems.

TO PLAY

To play The Protector's Memories, in addition to the book you'll need:

• Writing and coloring paper and pencils;
• At least one six-sided dice;
• An ordinary deck of 52 cards (without the jokers);
• The Protector's Sheet and the Hexagonal Map, available for download;
• A journal for taking notes;
• Optionally, have 2 tokens (buttons, pebbles, coins, etc.) to make it easier to keep track of your movement and time in the game.
