Approaching the weekend can bring a sense of excitement for the change of pace from the past week and the opportunity to hopefully indulvge in a passion which brings us joy and a welcome change from the day-to-day.

As an avid crafter, it genuinely feels like a luxury and a treat to have the time to explore a new or old craft. Over the years I have shared these with my kids, from baking to make decorations and we especially liked to make stockings at Christmas, to crocheting, sewing and now dice making. One of my favorites was a My Little Pony pinata I made for my youngest birthday. Although I had made it a little too well, as it was a challenge for the girls to smash.

There are a whole scope of crafts I haven't yet explored and would love to. Creating something from scratch just brings pure joy.
