Our first Mega Con Live in Birmingham. This was a last minute registration and we had a fantastic con. Is was amazing to meet so many familiar faces on the circuit, who arrive in some stunning cos-play. Couldn't help admiring Shivers crow, which they have on their stand, alongside of the hand knitted pumpkins :)
We had lovely trader neighbours and Jess and her family, who were a ray of sunshine each day. Jess Cruz Ink is incredibly talented and displayed some stunning framed paper silhouettes of your favourite characters - check her out.
Opposite was Cosy Character Company and they kept us entertained with photographing cos-player who appeared on their amazing drink cups. They are worth checking out.
The great aspect of Cons are the cos-players themselves. I love the mash-ups. My favourite so far, a minion-joker. Everyone of all ages get involved. Love it! It was 2015 when we went to Mega Con as a family and I made both Izzy and Kristi's costumes. I did run out of time to cover Izzy's shoes - I've added some pictures at the end ;)
We had a great chat to 'a taller than' Kit Harrington - Jon Snow, Mad Hatter, Enchantress who was the day before Wednesday Addams, as well as Critical Roles Critters.
We headed home to celebrate Tim's Birthday and then Friday it was to Scott's cinema to see the long awaited Dungeon's & Dragons movie, Honor Among Thieves.
Thank you to all of you who visited us. See you again soon xx
BTW - I've just realised that I hadn't moved far enough out of the way of the pictures, Tim took, meh!
